At long last the second issue of Balladry has finally arrived, and we're really excited about it! Print is nearly dead, but we gathered every possible resource to make this happen and we couldn't be happier with it. The first issue went rather quickly (still available HERE), that's why it was never posted on the site. With some minor adjustments, the second issue looks more polished and has some added content.

Featuring tons of album reviews, artwork by Shawn Reed (Raccoo-oo-oon, Wet Hair, Night People) and Mary Kidd (she did the rad cover), and interviews with Heavy Winged, Jessica Bailiff, and the awesome dudes over at Mutant Sounds, this one is sure to please. I am pricing this as low as humanly possible jut to keep it in print. Where else can you find a high quality, full color publication to fulfill your need for underground music and art? Recent tape and cdr issues

So, all of the Rambutan and Fossils From The Sun 3" cdrs I mailed out have "empty" tracks on them. I am resending new ones to everyone who ordered, sans packaging (each one will be in a sleeve labeled "R" or "FFTS". If you don't get a replacement disc within a week from today, please let me know.

Also, many of the Ajilvsga and North Sea tapes are reported as sounding warped and distorted, and not in a good way. If your tape(s) sounds like this, please get in touch with me and I will mail you a new one as soon as I can. This problem isn't as easy to fix as the cdrs, since not all of the tapes sound this way. I am blaming it on a dying tape duplicator. A new one is in the mail, so all new tape releases from now on will be dubbed on it.

I sincerely apologize for all of this, and will do everything I can to make up for it.

After a summer of chaos, Abandon Ship has finally set it's course and is ready with a new batch of releases. With two of them featuring ASR vet Brad Rose, and the other two dividing New York's Century Plants in half, they are sure to please (damage) the senses. Perfect soundtracks for a new Autumn.
